Roadrunner's Paradise & Race 61 June 25-27 2010
The annual rock and race event has entered the starting position for its 13th time
and is now ready for take off. The location of this exciting festival is again the former airstrip of the aeronautical museum in Finowfurt, just around the corner of Berlin.
And be sure, this year’s program will really kick your ass. Surrounded by disused aircrafts as part of the exhibition a bunch of premier league rockabilly-, punk- and rock & roll-acts will blow up your mind the whole time through.
You’re lookin’ for another thrill? Then watch the impressive line up of classic motorbikes, hot rods and custom cars. Furthermore you will find market stalls and a mixed up set all around the venue, including art & trade shows, custom artists, traders and more. And don’t worry about starvation, there will be the full offer of hot food and cold drinks as well.
No doubt, this weekend’s highlights are the breathtaking show-races, happening directly on the strip. Vehicles taking part will hit the road to go for the legendary furlong, which is the eighth of a mile. This distance used to be the ultimate speedkick during the Fifties. A real paradise for every hot rod maniac.
If you can’t get enough on the ground, take the chance of another enthralling trip. Just jump right into one of the vintage aircrafts such as the “Antonow” biplane and watch the pulsating scenery with a bird’s eye.
So, as you can see, the Roadrunner’s Paradise Race 61 Festival is definitely not a relaxing car meeting with boring people showing up in tweed jackets and knickerbockers. This event is a hundred percent Rock & Roll and focuses a certain cult and a certain attitude as well. Over the last years the fest attracted more and more
people from all over Europe, no matter if they were active attendants or simply spectators looking for some special kind of fun. And this year we are excited again about all confirmations giving you the guarantee for a three days maximum rock & roll bash without any speed limits or stop signs. Ready, Steady, Go!!!
