Am 8.Januar 1935 wurde Elvis Aaron Presley geboren. Mit seiner Musik und seinem Stil sorgte er für einen kräftigen Paukenschlag in der damaligen Jugendkultur. Mit seiner Erscheinung und seiner Art wurde er zu einer Identifikationsikone für Jugendliche weltweit. Die Kids liebten ihn und die Moralapostel verfluchten ihn. Wir alle kennen den Werdegang des King of Rock ’n‘ Roll.

The Louisiana Rhythm Club ehrt diesen großartigen Musiker jedes Jahr mit einer krachenden Geburtstagsfeier. Auf der Bühne werden  Musiker aus der Königsliga der europäischen Rock ’n‘ Roll/Rockabilly Szene aufeinandertreffen, für den Elvis eine besondere Inspirationsquelle, in deren musikalischen Schaffen. Für die kommende Tribute Feier wird ein Generationswechsel in die Wege geleitet. Seit der Gründung 2022 zieht die Band Alan Power & The Aftershocks aus Irland viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Die 4 Musiker, die gerade aus ihren Teenagejahren raus sind, haben eine schwindelerregende Karrierestart hinter sich. Sie standen bereits auf Bühnen von renommierten Rock ’n‘ Roll Festivals in ganz Europa. Ihre Bühnenpräsenz kommt sehr überzeugend, wild und authentisch. Da gibt es deutliche Parallele zu dem Blitz aus Memphis.

Bevor aber Alan Power die Bühne betreten wird, werden die Musiker Ike Stoye, Axel Praefke und Michael Kirscht, besser bekannt als Ike & The Capers, ihre Elvis, Scotty and Bill Show aufführen.

Hinter den Plattentellern: DJ Fontana. Er zeigt an diesem Abend, wie vielseitig und tanzbar die Musik von Elvis ist.

Following the success of last year’s event, we’re kicking off 2026 with another explosive night of musical celebration. This time, two of the most iconic bands in British rock history go head-to-head: The Who vs. The Kinks. We've invited some of Berlin’s finest indie bands and musicians to pay tribute to their favorites — whether it’s the raw power of The Who or the sharp wit and melodic brilliance of The Kinks. Expect passionate covers, creative reinterpretations, and unexpected twists as each act takes the stage to show their love and admiration for these legendary groups. From "Waterloo Sunset" to "Baba O'Riley", the evening will be packed with unforgettable moments, loud guitars, and a whole lot of heart. Come early, stay late, and join us as we honour the spirit of 60s rock with a modern-day twist — loud, proud, and full of love.
As usual this will be a charity event!
